What will our Social Media Marketer be doing?

As Social Media Marketer, you’ll be the creative force behind the social media of our clients and ourselves. Your role will be dynamic and multifaceted, allowing you to showcase your creativity and strategic thinking every day.

You'll start by creating and posting organic social content. You'll do this on many platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google Business, YouTube, and Pinterest. Your ability to make stunning graphics with Canva is crucial.

You can also snap captivating photos and shoot engaging videos with your phone or camera. You’ll also have fun making live streams and short videos for TikTok and Reels. This will add a lively touch to our clients’ social media content.

Writing compelling and creative copy will be a key part of your role. You’ll also need to stay on top of social media interactions. You’ll be the friendly voice responding to comments and messages, ensuring our clients’ communities feel heard and valued.

By tracking performance metrics, you’ll see what’s working and what needs tweaking. This helps to improve future content. Plus, your knack for hashtag research will boost the visibility and engagement of our clients’ posts.

You'll help set up and manage ads on platforms like Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and LinkedIn. Analysing these campaigns will be crucial. You’ll provide insights and recommendations to keep our strategies on point.

Collaboration is a key aspect of this role. You’ll work as part of our team to develop social media strategies that align with each client’s business goals. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices, keeping our approach fresh and effective.

Using tools like HubSpot, ClickUp, Sprout Social, and Google Analytics, you’ll manage and track social media activities. Your analytical skills will help you understand what content hits the mark and what needs improvement. This data analysis helps refine our strategies for better results. You’ll focus on metrics such as engagement rates and campaign ROI to make sure our efforts are driving the desired outcomes.

As a client-facing role, you’ll prepare and present social media strategies and performance reports to clients. You'll tailor content to meet each client’s unique goals. You’ll become the go-to expert advisor for our clients. You'll provide them with data insights and support to help them make informed decisions and achieve their objectives.

Who Would Be Great for Our Social Media Marketer Role?

We’re looking for someone with a proven background in social media marketing. If you have experience in B2B lead generation for professional services, that is ideal.

You’ve got a creative streak and love using Canva to bring your ideas to life. You create content that catches the eye and tells a story. You can design graphics, snap photos, or shoot videos. You’re also comfortable using your phone or camera to produce live streams and short-form videos for TikTok and Reels.

You should be social media savvy and have experience with tools like Sprout Social. You understand the basics of paid social media advertising. You can pitch in and help set up and manage campaigns on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and LinkedIn. When it comes to analytics, you can dive into the data to figure out what’s working and what needs tweaking.

Your communication skills are top-notch. You can write compelling copy and interact with both clients and their audiences effectively. You’re organised and able to juggle multiple projects at once, always meeting deadlines and staying within budget. A background in a marketing agency would be ideal.

You’re excited about helping clients achieve their business goals, not just chasing vanity metrics. It may be driving leads, generating orders, securing donations, or attracting job applicants.
