Whether you're looking to copy designs or consolidate your accounts, we'll help you sort it out. While we can't directly merge accounts or teams, we've got several options to help you get everything where you need it.
First up: Understanding accounts vs teams
Before we dive in, let's clear up the difference:
- Your account is tied to your registered email address - if you're logging in with different email addresses, you've got multiple accounts
- Teams are groups you can create or join within your account to collaborate with others
- You can switch between teams by clicking your profile icon and selecting "Switch team" (or tap Menu first on mobile)
Option 1: Copy individual designs
Copying designs between teams
Part of multiple teams and want to share your work? Here's how to copy a design from one team to another:
- Head to your homepage or Projects area
- Find the design you want to copy
- Click the More menu (the three dots) on the design thumbnail
- Select "Copy to another team"
- Choose which team you'd like to copy it to
- Click "Copy" to confirm
- Wait a moment while we process your request
You'll find your copied design in the Projects area of your chosen team.
Copying designs between accounts
Need to move a design to a completely different account? You'll need to share an editable version:
- Find the design you want to copy in Projects
- Click the More menu on the design thumbnail
- Choose "Share"
- Pop in the email address of the account you want to send it to
- Make sure to set the permission to "Can edit"
- Click "Share"
- Log out and into the account you want to copy to
- Open the shared design from your email
- Click "File" in the editor menu
- Select "Make a copy"
Your copied design will appear in the Projects area under "Designs".

Option 2: Download everything in bulk
Need to grab all your content at once? You can download everything - including your designs, uploads, and personal data - in one go. This is perfect if you're looking to back everything up or move lots of content between accounts.
What you'll get in your download:
- All your designs
- Uploaded images and videos
- Custom fonts
- Personal details (if you've provided them)
Important notes before you start:
- This feature only works on desktop
- For team content, only the team owner can do the bulk download
- Once you request a download, you can't delete your account until it's complete
- The download link stays active for 14 days
Here's how to do it:
- Request your download
- Click "Settings" from the homepage
- Head to "Login & Security"
- Look for "Download your uploads and designs" (or "Download your team uploads and designs" for teams)
- Click "Request to download"
- Wait for the email
- This might take 24-72 hours depending on how much content you have
- Keep an eye on your inbox for the confirmation email
- If it takes longer than 72 hours, give our support team a shout
- Download your files
- Head back to Account settings and click "Download"
- You'll see your content split into manageable chunks
- Click each file to start downloading
If something's missing:
- Check the downloaded files to see what didn't make it
- Look for missing designs in your Projects page
- Try downloading missing designs one by one
- If you still can't find something, contact our support team within 14 days of getting your download link
Option 3: Merge accounts or teams
While we can't directly merge accounts or teams, here's the next best thing:
- Decide which account or team you want to keep as your main one
- Share your designs to this preferred account/team
- Make copies of everything you want to keep
- Optional: Once everything's moved across, you can delete the old account or team if you own it
Important notes about merging:
- Premium plans (like Pro or Teams) can't be transferred between accounts
- Make sure to transfer designs to your premium account if you want to keep using premium features
- You'll need to copy designs one at a time
A note about permissions
By default, only team admins can copy content between brands. However, team admins can change this so everyone can copy designs across brands.
To update these permissions:
- Head to Settings
- Click "Permissions" under your team
- Go to "Team content"
- Find "Who can copy content from [Team name] into another team"
- Set it to "Everyone"
